Welcome Players, Parents, and Coaches:
While we enter our 10th season it is a little unbelievable how many changes we have seen. We
have gone from a soccer focused facility with in-line hockey to a true multi- sport facility with our
major sports: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football and Baseball. With these sports we
have leagues, camps, training, and tournaments. The summer camp and school days off camps
are turning out to be a great place for kids to work on their game. We appreciate the players and
families for supporting these programs and we hope it is meeting all your youth sports needs. We
can’t say enough how much we appreciate the parent volunteers who coach, the intercity coaches
who help teach at the camps, and yes even the officials.
This brochure contains all the information you need concerning our programs. It will also assist
you in signing up for the programs that interest you and your family. We offer programs for all ages
and abilities.
We have added some very exciting new skills programs and instructors. Kenton Carr, the Bloomington
Extreme Head coach will be conducting a weekly skills camp for football players. Chris
Hawkins, the head baseball coach at Normal West will be offering weekly baseball skills instruction.
See pages 6 & 9 for all the details.
We are honored to have hall of fame basketball coach Cal Hubbard and Selby Hubbard running
our weekly basketball skills camps. This will be a great opportunity for the youth players in McLean
County to learn the fundamentals of the game from legendary coaches.
Mike Current, ISU’s assistant baseball coach will be available for private baseball hitting lessons.
See page 9 for details.
For all those women basketball players that have no place to play, we are also offering an adult
women’s basketball league. See page 5 for details.
We continue to have programming being conducted by Ron Rose head basketball coach at IWU,
Dusty Burk head football coach at U-High and Bloomington Extreme player, Julie Burk former ISU
volleyball player and Austin Peay Coach, Tim Johnson former ISU Assistant baseball coach, Fusion
soccer club coaches, and also Parisi Speed School Instructors. It is very exciting that these
coaches have made the commitment to work with the youth of McLean County. Please take advantage
of these great opportunities.
We understand the current economy has affected everyone. As you can understand our costs
have gone up as a result of these same conditions. We are pleased to announce we will not be
raising pricing on any of our programs this year. We are committed to the community to provide
quality, and also affordable programming. We hope this will allow you to continue to support our
programs and possibly participate in some of the skills programming.
