Welcome Players, Parents, and Coaches:

We are entering into our 11th season under the current ownership and we can proudly say Game Time Gym II is the premier sports facility in Central Illinois, with our major sports being: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football and Baseball. With these sports we have leagues, camps, training and tournaments. The skills camps are turning out to be a great place for kids to work on their game and improve their skills. We want to thank the players and families for supporting our programs and we hope that Game Time Gym is meeting all of your youth sports needs. We can’t say enough how much we appreciate the parent volunteers who coach, the intercity coaches who help teach at the camps, and especially our officials who are dedicated to working with the youth in our community.

This brochure contains all the information you need concerning our programs. It will also assist you in signing up for the programs that interest you and your family. We offer programs for all ages and abilities, please visit our website at www.gametimegym.com

This year we have added some exciting new skills programs and instructors. Don Beebe’s House of Speed will be doing performance training. Drew Miller, cheerleading coach at U-High will be conducting a weekly cheer camp for girls K – 7th grade. We are also going to be conducting our first High School Volleyball league this winter.

Make sure to take notice of our new fluorescent lights that we added in March 2010. The new lights have made the facility much brighter and have drastically made our playing environment that much better for the athletes. We also improved the batting cage lighting and added lights to the front entry to the facility.

We continue to have programming being conducted by Ron Rose head basketball coach at IWU, Julie Burk former ISU volleyball player and Austin Peay Coach, Tim Johnson former ISU assistant baseball coach, Fusion soccer club coaches, and Jessica Pratapas former ISU volleyball player. It so rewarding to know that these coaches have made the commitment to work with the youth of McLean County. Don’t miss out on these incredible opportunities

This year we are under new leadership as Andrew McDowell will be taking over as Operations Manager. We are very excited to welcome another member of the family into the leadership at Game Time Gym II.

With the current economy still being down we will not be raising our prices for the second year in a row. We want to make our programs affordable for everyone so that all can enjoy our facility. We are committed to the community to provide quality, and also affordable programming. We hope this will allow you to continue to support our programs and possibly participate in some of the skills programming.

Reach us at our new email address, gametimegym2@comcast.net, effective July 1st.

We awarded the 2010 Anna Mae McDowell scholarships to:

SPORT WINNER HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE
Girls Basketball Whitney Scurlock Prairie Central Elmhurst University
Football Tre Jones NCHS Illinois State University
Volleyball Kaleigh Beaty Dee-Mack Illinois College
Soccer Peter Schiller U-High University of Illinois
Boys Basketball Taylor Lierman NCHS Illinois Wesleyan

We hope to have another great fun-filled year with lots of excitement and memories at our facility. Please feel free to come by any time and let us know how you think we are doing. We are customer-focused, and feedback-driven. Again, we thank you for all of your support and look forward to seeing each of you soon!

Thanks,

Larry and Mindy McDowell
